
Component 6: Employee Relations Advice
Throughout the year, it is inevitable that questions will arise as to the proper application of HR principles in managing human resources. This may run the gamut from questions about disciplinary actions, issues related to work accommodation under FMLA or the ADA, overtime requirements and collective bargaining obligations in a union setting.
In order to be effective, the employer must be able to contact and receive timely answers to such questions.
To this end HRCRRA provides initial Employee Relations advice within twenty-four hours. If necessary a site visit is conducted and formal written advice is provided.
